Mark Austin

Mark Austin oversees global trade operations across equity, fixed income, and derivatives for the affiliated investment management teams of the Connor, Clark & Lunn Financial Group, Canada’s largest independent investment manager. His teams are based in Vancouver, Toronto, London, and Gurugram, supporting trading desks in Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, Greenwich, CT, and London. Mark brings deep expertise in portfolio operations, client onboarding, and product implementation. He currently serves on the HMT Taskforce on Accelerated Settlement for the UK market and is a member of the DTCC Advisory Council for the EMEA region. Previously, he was the buy-side co-chair of the DTCC Regional Advisory Council for the Americas and a Steering Committee member for Canada’s T+1 settlement cycle implementation.

With a career spanning roles at Royal Insurance Asset Management and the London Stock Exchange, Mark brings deep expertise in portfolio operations, post-trade reform, and cross-border settlement.
