Mark is the Chief Executive Officer of Appital and an experienced capital markets professional. He founded Appital to unlock latent liquidity and bring enhanced bookbuilding and price formation capabilities to institutional investors. The Appital platform enables buyside firms to gain greater exposure to deal flow and execution opportunities, source hard to find liquidity and execute large volumes with minimal market impact or risk of price erosion. Ahead of launch, Appital is onboarding some of the world’s leading global asset managers and created the technology infrastructure to support a unique buyside workflow that includes EMS providers, executing brokers and the Turquoise MTF, to the benefit of issuers and buyside investors. Prior to founding Appital, Mark worked with the UBS Equity Capital Markets syndicate desk, successfully placing multiple IPOs and follow-on transactions across sectors. He began his career at Bank of America in Debt Capital Markets and Foreign Exchange.
