Martin van der Schans is a is a Trading Researcher at Robeco’s equity trading desk. He holds a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Leiden University, and has fulfilled a variety of research roles in the financial industry in the last 15 years. In 2021, he joined Robeco where he specializes in modelling of market impact, optimization, and trading algorithms.
