Sarah Hay

Sarah is responsible for the strategic and commercial vision for our Global Commission Management business across Equities and Fixed Income and also heads up the EMEA Global Markets Client Office where she is responsible for driving and executing the EMEA Global Markets Client Strategy within Distribution. Prior to this, Sarah held roles in Technology, Business Management, and Market Structure & Liquidity Strategy in Electronic Trading where she led change with disruptive technology following MiFID / MIFID II. Sarah was part of the UBS team leading the investment and set up for the Pan EU MTF Turquoise (later sold to the London Stock Exchange) and served as a board member of Turquoise Global Holdings from Jan 2017 to 2019. Sarah also helped with connectivity to Chi-X Europe and was an observer on the board of BATS Europe from June 2013 to June 2016. Sarah holds a first-class degree in Pure Mathematics and is passionate about technology to enable growth in business. She is a keen cyclist and participated in the Ride Like a Pro initiative with Saxo Tinkoff in 2015 and represented Wales in rowing.
