Sharon is responsible for the oversight and co-ordination of the Global Equities business. She plays a key role in defining the strategy for this extensive and highly successful business and will implement the strategy accordingly, within a robust and efficient framework that keeps costs to a minimum, accounts for regulatory requirements and protects the firm against operational risk, whilst generating profit and returns on resources. As Chief of Staff, Sharon plays a critical role ensuring excellent standards are maintained throughout the organisation and has full accountability for managing and controlling the resources for this business, including recruitment and hiring. Sharon is on the Financial News FN100 Women In Finance list for 2015. The annual list recognises the "most influential’’ female executives working in financial services.
