Huw Gronow

Head of Dealing Newton Investment Management

Huw is Head of Dealing at Newton, overseeing all trading for the UK based firm across all asset classes. He joined Newton in October 2016. Prior to that he was Head of Trading, Europe and Asia at Principal Asset Management, with trading roles at Blackrock and TT International Investment Management before that.

Huw co-chairs the EMEA Investment Management Working Group for FIX Trading Community, a not-for-profit industry organization working for standardized technology trading protocols in the industry, as well as being a member of the UK Investment Association’s Buyside Trading Committee. He also sits on advisory groups for a number of other industry entities.

Huw graduated from the University of Cambridge with a Master’s degree (MA) in Natural Sciences. He is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (Chartered FCSI) and a member of the CQF Institute.
