Head, Trading and Treasury SEB Asset Management

Andreas is Head of the Multi Asset Trading desk and also oversees the Treasury operations at SEB Investment Management in Stockholm. SEB IM is responsible within SEB for management of mutual funds and institutional mandates, with assets under management exceeding 100€bn. He manages a centralised desk of 6 traders and 2 treasurers who deal in all asset classes globally. They trade for and service 30 investment teams based in 6 countries. The main focus is to minimize market impact and maximize liquidity while helping the portfolio managers achieve optimal performance for our clients. Andreas joined SEB in 2010 after working twelve years on both buy and sellside, including four years as a senior trader and portfolio manager at Första AP-fonden. Before that he held positions as a sales trader at Svenska Handelsbanken and HSBC.
