Arjun joined Goldman Sachs in 2019, as an Executive Director in the Office of Government & Regulatory Affairs EMEA. Prior to joining the firm, Arjun was the Global Head of Regulatory Affairs at ICAP Global Broking. Before that, he was a Senior Advisor at the Investment Association, where his responsibilities encompassed representing asset managers with policy makers in the UK and Europe on trading, market structure, and broader regulatory change. Earlier in his career, Arjun headed the EU Affairs team at the British Bankers’ Association, where he represented the interests of the banking industry with policy makers in the post-financial crisis period. Arjun represents the firm in a number of industry groups, including at UK Finance and the Association for Financial Markets in Europe. Arjun earned a B.A. in Global Political Studies from York University (Canada), and a MSc in European Political Economy from the London School of Economics.
