After years of building OMS and EMS platforms, J.P. Morgan Asset Management is fundamentally rethinking trading technology architecture. Instead of organizing workflows around large systems, the team is shifting to a capability-based model where specific trading functions- order routing, fill allocation, algo selection, venue access- are delivered as reusable, API-first services.
In this session, Fabian shares how this architecture enables trading capabilities to be invoked flexibly across the order lifecycle, regardless of which system initiates the workflow. He'll introduce the concept of "headless APIs"- services published generically so multiple systems can consume them without being locked into a specific UI or vendor workflow.
You'll walk away with practical insights on integrating OMS and EMS capabilities via APIs, creating unified cross-asset order views, and building trading platforms that evolve without trapping desks in rigid architectures.
Check out the incredible speaker line-up to see who will be joining Fabian.
