Frank heads up CapTec Partners, a systematic hedgefund based in Munich, Germany. CapTec was founded in 2017 based on a fully machine-based approach that spans from strategy development to automated trade execution and risk management. Thereby, Frank has developed a differentiated view on the limits and possibilities of using ML and traditional statistics in order to generate alpha in financial markets. Before founding CapTec, he worked as a strategy consultant at The Boston Consulting Group, with a strong focus on digitisation and data analytics.
