Hani Shalabi

Head of Execution Services Arqaam Capital

Hani has a distinguished 25-year career in the Asian markets. He began at Morgan Stanley, supporting trading systems in Japan and Hong Kong. He then led prominent electronic trading desks at UBS and Credit Suisse. As Head of Execution at Deutsche Bank, he oversaw trading desks across 11 Asia-Pacific markets. Currently Hani runs Execution Services for Arqaam Capital, a leading MENA focused investment bank based in Dubai. Hani has a strong technical foundation in trading systems, extensive buy and sell-side connections, and has managed large front and back-office teams. He holds degrees in Electrical Engineering, Physics, and a Master's in Computer Science.
