Iman Honarvar

Director of Quant Equity Research Robeco

Dr. Honarvar is a Senior Quantitative Researcher at Robeco. In this role, he is responsible for research and development of innovative alpha insights and solutions for the quantitative equity strategies of Robeco. Dr. Honarvar’s current research interests are in the areas of machine learning, alternative data, and portfolio optimization. Dr. Honarvar graduated from the Maastricht University with a Ph.D. in Finance. During graduate school he has published in leading academic journals such as the Journal of Empirical Finance and the International Review of Financial Analysis. Dr. Honarvar has presented his research papers in several academic conferences such as the American Finance Association Conference (Chicago 2016), European Economic Association Conference (Geneva 2016 and Lisbon 2017) and Australasian Finance and Banking Conference (Sydney, 2014).
