Rob Friend

Rob Friend is the head of the market solutions products and partnerships at Symphony. In his role, he delivers market workflows for traders, sales, research and operations users. Prior to Symphony, he was chief operating officer at SteelEye, a cloud-based platform providing trade and communications oversight, as well as regulatory reporting tools. Rob spent 12 years at Bloomberg and held a number of product roles. He was responsible for the firm’s global fixed income, FX and foundational product strategy as well as order management systems and electronic trading products. Prior to his fintech career, he spent 12 years working in the financial industry for Bank of America, Goldman Sachs and J.P. Morgan. He has worked in a number of risk and middle office roles covering interest rates, credit and equities across both cash and derivative products.
