At TradeTech Europe, we spoke to James Baxter, Head of Global Buy-Side Sales at LiquidityBook, to learn why they chose to continue sponsoring.

Why did you choose to sponsor TradeTech?

James: Our first experience at TradeTech was a great one. We had an exhibition booth and got a lot of traction, met lots of good people and good contacts, and were able to generate leads from those people we met. Based on that experience, we’ve returned and had a similar experience this year.

How have you found the quality of delegates onsite?

James: They’ve been great and are certainly the right audience for us. In addition to this, the other vendors here are partners we currently work with. It is great to be able to catch up with them and meet potential new ones.

How have you found the networking opportunities?

James: Our booth is in an excellent spot for the networking sessions. Right around the corner from the plenary and beside the barista stand, it’s created a lot of good traffic for us.

Do you believe it’s important to sponsor TradeTech in the future?

James: Certainly, it’s a very well-organised event and is very well attended. With the advantages that we had from sponsoring last year and the similar experience we’re having this year, we will likely be back next year.
